Our current exhibition showcases the hotels and motels of Winter Park throughout the city’s history. A highlight is a look at the lavish luxury hotels of the late 1800s built to attract wealthy northerners to Winter Park. Also on display are the roadside family cabins, tourist courts and motels that provided accommodations when America’s middle class took to road to discover America. There is also a tribute to those who built Winter Park and stayed in boarding houses throughout town. For children there is a late 1800s period playroom with activities.
