Only have a few hours?
Exhibition docents generally work one or more three-hour shifts a month. We offer a training program for all interested guides so that they will become knowledgeable and confident in their new role at the museum.

We offer a range of volunteer opportunities accompanied by ‘hands-on’ training to make your experience enjoyable and satisfying. The WPHM offers many ways to get involved with our programs, exhibits and special events.

Make History with Us Memberships support the year-round operation of the museum and help preserve the rich history of our community. Members receive notification of WPHM sponsored special events, exhibition openings and speaker programs. All membership levels include family members.

Since it was founded in 1982, the WPHM has relied on individuals to donate important objects, textiles, letters, photos, diaries, etc., that directly relate to the history of Winter Park. It is our pledge to continue to build the collections, preserve them, and make them accessible through exhibitions and research requests.
